A Denmark-based fashion brand called Ganni partnered with BioFluff, a company that produces plant-based materials, to create plant-based fur bags. The fur developed is plastic-free and has been made from agricultural waste and fibres of plants like flax, nettle and hemp, which makes it environmentally friendly. These bags can be dyed using natural materials and are available in pink, brown and black colour. The bags come with recycled leather handles. Through the production of plant-based fur, the companies aim to reduce the emissions that would otherwise be caused during the manufacture of real fur and plastic fur products.
