Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head

Rabhya Sharan, Class 5, Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai

Raindrops keep falling on my head
My mom got a new umbrella that was red
Take it with you when you step out, she said
But I don’t want to, I said
For I love it when raindrops keep falling on my head
Sometimes I feel like parting my lips and having a sip
Oh how my feet would love taking a dip
In the puddles all around my house
Scurrying around I saw a mouse
So I decided it would not be wise
I don’t like mice
I would give my cat a dip in the sink
And hear the rain “Clink”
