Cottesmore School, a preparatory school located in West Sussex, UK, has appointed an artificial intelligence (AI) robot named Abigail Bailey as its principal headteacher. The robot is set to assist Tom Rogerson, the school’s human headmaster, and advise him on a variety of subjects including methods to help children with special needs. It will also provide support to the school’s staff. The robot functions just like ChatGPT and will provide answers based on the prompts given to it. Abigail Bailey can analyse loads of information and is expected to help Rogerson with administration, managing education and decision-making.
