Scientists at Linkoping University, Sweden, have created a stretchable and adaptable battery that has numerous potential applications including being incorporated into wearable gadgets. This battery has a texture that is similar to that of toothpaste and can be moulded into any shape. Scientists used a residual material from the production of paper called lignin and conductive plastics to create it. This battery can be recharged numerous times and scientists are working towards enhancing its voltage.
