India plans to roll out the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) in schools across the country. WACE, a curriculum regulated by the Government of Western Australia, promotes the practical use of information, creativity and curiosity rather than just memorising lessons. The curriculum will be adopted by 100 partner schools in India, improving students’ global prospects. With WACE, students will acquire an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), an entrance score recognised by many international universities. The curriculum has been given class 12 equivalency by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), allowing students to apply to Indian universities.
