Ashin C Anil and Jeswin Sunsi, fellow students at SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai, have designed a software that helps during the voting process. The software called EVM Track was designed to help authorities in Kerala oversee the movement of thousands of electronic voting machines (EVMs), enabling efficient operations. The handling of these machines has been manual and without any digital assistance. However, this new software made EVM management easier as it reduced manual effort and document work, helping authorities to locate the machines digitally. This system also made the voting process transparent.
