Host: Hi everyone. Welcome to our show! Our topic for today is ‘Our Subconscious Mind’. We have a very special guest here with us to share their knowledge about the subconscious mind. Let’s welcome Mr. Neuron!

Mr. Neuron: Hi! Hello! Today I’ll be talking about Our Subconscious Mind.

Did you know about 97% of all our brain activities are carried forward by our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind contains memory banks, thought generators, emotion generators, a sensory input controller, and a dedicated storage for habits. So, let’s take a look at how our subconscious mind operates.

The subconscious mind basically works like an office. There are 5 parts- The memory bank, thought and emotion generators, sensory input controller, and dedicated storage for habits.

The Memory Bank is the place where all your memories get stored. Most of our older memories include some sort of extreme emotion. This is because extreme emotion and divergent information are the easiest way for our brain to remember. A tip for you to remember easily is through relational information, for example, if you know the spelling of “butter” and “fly”, you know the spelling of “butterfly”.

Habit Storage, also known as Autopilot Storage, is the place where your brain stores habits, no matter good or bad. We can read English, as we have trained our brains to identify letters, then join those letters to form words, and then join words together to form sentences. This is also the life-controlling unit, The Autopilot Storage is linked to your conscious mind, for it to run, knowingly or unknowingly.

The Sensory Input Controller is responsible for sending sensory information to the memory bank, providing feedback for thought and feeling generation, and polling sensory inputs when you are engaged state of mind. Out of the four types of sensory information, which are, sight, sound, sensation, and smell, we can only think in sight and sound.

Thought Generator is the place where your thoughts are generated, obviously. It takes information from the Memory Bank and Sensory Input Controller and with the help of Autopilot Storage and produces thought. When you think knowingly, it is called Structred Thought, and when you think unknowingly, it is called unstructured thought.

Emotion Generator is where all your emotions are generated. When you find yourself feeling angry or sad, just remember, it’s your emotion generator in work.

So in conclusion, I would like to say that our subconscious mind is powerful, more so than you can imagine. Habits are the most strongest way you can harness the power of your subconscious mind. Your intelligence depends on what you provide and practice throughout your life. For example, if you provide your mind with unwanted and unnecessary thoughts and practice distractions, then you will live a life full of distraction.

Host: Wow! Anyway, that’s it for tonight. Byee!
