Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the establishment of the world’s largest museum—Yuge Yugeen Bharat National Museum in Delhi. This museum will cover an area of 1.17 lakh sq mts and will exhibit India’s diverse culture and history spanning more than 5,000 years. The building will have 950 rooms and eight thematic segments including different periods in Indian history. It will be constructed in Delhi’s North and South Blocks and will replace the National Museum situated at Janpath.
