6-year-old Student Sets Record as Video Game Developer

Simar Khurana from Ontario, Canada, set the Guinness World Record for becoming the youngest video game developer in the world at six years and 335 days of age.

Simar Khurana from Ontario, Canada, set the Guinness World Record for becoming the youngest video game developer in the world at six years and 335 days of age. She developed an educational video game for children called ‘Healthy Food Challenge’. Through the video game, Simar wishes to educate children on healthy food consumption and the dangers of consuming junk food. Simar’s father noticed her exceptional mathematics and coding skills and encouraged her to take coding classes. She aspires to become a game developer in the future and wishes to create many applications and games.
