Diwali, the festival of light,
Diyas are decorated everywhere in sight.
Celebrating it is a huge delight,
Crackers bursting out so loud and bright.
Dishes and drinks are so tasty and sweet,
Gifts and flowers and count me in for more treats.
A sorrow it is for dear Sita,
Ravana is taking her away from Lord Rama.
Celebrating the death of demon Ravana,
As the huge and wonderful festival of Dusshera.
Returning to Ayodhya, a long journey it shall be,
And thus, we celebrate the festival of Diwali.
