

Technology company Intel Corporation has appointed an executive of Indian origin named Sachin Katti as its chief technology officer (CTO) and artificial intelligence (AI) chief.
Technology company Intel Corporation has appointed an executive of Indian origin named Sachin Katti as its chief technology officer (CTO) and artificial intelligence (AI) chief. Katti, who was born in Karnataka’s Belagavi, previously worked in the capacity of senior vice president and general manager of the company’s Network and Edge group. Here, enhancing network infrastructure was a significant part of his role. Before becoming part of Intel, Katti founded two companies—Uhana and Kumu Networks. VMware eventually acquired the startup, Uhana. Kumu Networks was dedicated to developing full-duplex radio technology. Katti is an alumnus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
