Melting lollipops
Crushed chips
How I indulged in those simple joys of life
Midnight studying
Eyes drooping
Dodging school deadlines
Yet chasing the dream that always waited around me as a shadow
Sleeping in on Sundays
Wrapped in the warmth of a pressure free weekend
While the sources roared and sunrays peeked through curtains
