On July 15, celebrated as World Youth Skills Day, the Indian government launched ‘AI for India 2.0’, a free online Artificial Intelligence (AI) training course. A combined initiative between Skill India and GUVI, an ed-tech company, this programme aims to empower the youth by equipping them with crucial skills in the field of AI. It has received accreditations from the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and is accessible in nine different languages. People all over India including in rural areas can avail of this course. One can sign up for it on the official website of GUVI.
