A British artist named Stuart Semple has designed unique 3D-printed flowers that have been showcased in Jersey Zoo, UK. This installation, called ‘Bloom’, comprises 5,000 flowers and is available for public viewing till the end of September. Semple used a bio-resin composed of plant matter and castor oil to create these flowers. The flowers were painted with Lit, a pigment developed by Semple, that causes them to glow in the dark. This initiative was undertaken to commemorate the 100th birthday of Gerald Durrell, a renowned conservationist.
