India secured 50 gold medals at the Asian Shooting Championship 2025 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, leading the medal tally for the first time in its history.

  • India secured 50 gold medals at the Asian Shooting Championship 2025 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, leading the medal tally for the first time in its history. 
  • India won a total of 99 medals. Apart from 50 gold, the team brought home 26 silver and 23 bronze medals. 
  • Ankur Mittal set a new world record in the men’s double trap event with 107 hits. 
  • Shooters such as Adriyan Karmakar, Kapil Bainsla, Arjun Babuta, Elavenil Valarivan, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Neeru Dhanda, Manu Bhaker, Sift Kaur Samra and Rajkanwar Singh Sandhu delivered stellar performances.
