Bhatia’s appointment was highly significant, occurring shortly before Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, a crewmember on the Axiom-4 Mission, becomes the first Indian to travel to the International Space Station (ISS). Prior to his new role, Bhatia served as the company’s chief revenue officer. He has played a pivotal role in undertaking important partnerships and has contributed to ambitious missions ever since he became part of Axiom Space. Before joining the company, Bhatia’s experience included working with Google Cloud and founding three startups.
