The Delhi government has implemented a classroom library project in all government schools under which every classroom for students of class 6 to 8 will have a library. The goal is to bring quality reading material to students, inculcate reading habits in them and improve classroom teaching. Under this project, two periods will be allocated to books—the first for reading and the second for interactions and book discussions.
