Anrealage, a Japanese fashion brand, displayed its unique collection of colour-changing clothes at the Autumn-Winter Paris Fashion Week 2023, which was held at the Theatre de la Madeleine in Paris, France. Models on the runway wore clothes that were white but changed colour when they were exposed to ultraviolet (UV) lighting that was suspended from the ceiling. The garments were made using photochromic fabric and materials that change colour when exposed to UV light and sunlight, thus eventually revealing their patterns and colours.

Did You Know?
Many mammals such as bats, cows, reindeer and rodents can detect UV rays.
