Umpteen they flock in the sky Soaring up ever so high Caring parents devoted Songs a present to the world They boast a rainbow of colours Both beautiful and rare Their fluffy feathers go flip-flap To soar up in the trees These majestic creatures glide To see a birds eye view Catch every single detail To grow against man’s tidal waves Mother knows all in life To teach little chicks to grow They fall down when start to fly Lift their heads up, once again try They tower above the people Like man always sought to do Wake at dawn to feed and hunt Back home to dream at dusk Their melodies they show In forests quite a racket In country a sweet regularity While in cities natures breadth They show morality in all that they do “Look up and try again” baby birds tweet “Work hard and do the best” birds twitter Like a phoenix from the ashes, again regrow
