Google launched an initiative called ‘Startup School India’ that intends to organise all the information required for building a start-up into a well-planned curriculum to help start-ups in small cities overcome hurdles and work efficiently. This initiative aims to target 10,000 start-ups in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The curriculum of the nine-week virtual programme will include topics such as social media and networking, product strategy, fintech, e-commerce and many others. The programme will allow founders of small start-ups to interact with successful entrepreneurs and investors and learn from them through information sharing.
