The Delhi government has launched a Green War Room in the Delhi Secretariat building, which will be responsible for observing pollution levels in Delhi 24X7. The room will be run by 12 members including environment scientists and other officials who will inform the government about their observations so steps can be taken to check pollution and implement the winter action plan effectively.

The room, which was launched by Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai on October 3, is equipped with the finest technology including three big liquid crystal display (LCD) screens to monitor pollution in real-time. The room will also be linked with the Green Delhi App, which will enable residents of the city to register any pollution-related complaint.
