Independence Day Speech

Tisya Singhal, Class 3, Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar, Delhi

Freedom to me!

Hello nation!

As Britishers have left India, I will call this day- Independence Day. Britishers may have taken a lot, but no one can take away what makes you, YOU!

Hope –
-for a better future
-for everything good

Britishers may have taken everything, but we can still make more. Let’s take a pledge – I pledge to protect my house, to have freedom- physical and mental, support other’s thoughts, not be afraid to share my own thoughts and to be the best Indian ever!

Teachers, please tell your students about Independence. Remember – Hope is never lost!
