SavorEat, an Israeli food-tech start-up, has unveiled a robot that can 3D print a plant-based burger in just six minutes. Since the robot puts the burger together on site, it can even manage the amount of fat, protein and other ingredients that are added, taking customisation to a whole new level. The burger itself is a combination of potato and chickpea with pea protein. A large number of people are opting for plant-based foods as a way to protect the environment and for their health benefits.
