To encourage children to learn new languages, the Uttar Pradesh government has incorporated several languages, including Marathi, Tamil and Kannada, as part of vocational education in the state. The announcement of this move was made by Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, at the Kashi Tamil Sangam 4.0’s opening ceremony in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. According to Adityanath, this initiative aligns with the Indian government’s Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative and is expected to bolster the cultural connections between regions.
