Scientists have discovered an enormous volcano on Mars that is taller than the Earth’s Mount Everest. This volcano is located in the Red Planet’s Tharsis volcanic region and has been temporarily named Noctis Volcano. It is around 9,022mts tall and has a width of around 450kms; scientists believe it was active for a long time. Scientists also believe that the enormous volcano might have glacier ice under it. The discovery of the volcano will provide scientists with more geological information related to the evolution of Mars.
