Multiplication of Numbers Ending in 0

To multiply numbers ending in 0, first, multiply the numbers without including the zeros. Once you find the product of the numbers, add the zeros at the end.

For example:  Let’s take 500 × 300 First, multiply 5 by 3: 5 × 3 = 15 Now, count the number of zeros in the original numbers ‘500’ and ‘300’ and add them at the end of ‘15’ The answer obtained is 1,50,000So 500 × 300 = 1,50,000 Try these at home:  140 × 200 = ______ 60
