Vihan Mudusu, Class 5, Slate – The School, Hyderabad
For a long time, my parents, some of my relatives, my friends, and even my school music teacher kept telling me to join a music academy. But I always said no because I wanted to join a dance class instead. When I told my parents, they said, “First go to music class, then later you can join dance too.”
Later, one of my relatives, who really cares about me kept encouraging me to try music. She told me many times that I should at least give it a chance. I thought about it for a while, and then I said okay and promised I would join.
I started feeling interested in music because many people told me I have a nice voice. Some even said that if I sing, I could win competitions and maybe even get medals! That made me feel happy and excited. So I finally said yes.
Every human has their own aim to achieve. But sometimes, others can see a special talent in you that you might not notice yourself. Elders, like my relative, can understand what comes naturally to you.
