Oman has revealed the design of a mixed-use project called Omani Mountain Destination that will include hospitality, residential, sports, wellness and various other facilities. Masterplanned by a design and engineering firm called AtkinsRéalis, this project will be constructed at a cost of $2.4 billion. The project will be located at an altitude of 2,400mts on Jabal al Akhdar and is expected to accommodate around 8,000 residents and thousands of visitors daily. Its location will ensure that visitors enjoy a pleasant climate. The project will also include social spaces, a museum and cable cars to transport people.
