In the middle of the jungle, be it night or day,
On the branches sit parrots a vibrant display.
Chatter echoes through the trees,
Music carried by the breeze.
With colours bright, like the ones in dreams,
Sapphire, ruby and emerald beams.
With beaks so strong, with innocent eyes,
They mimic words, they mimic sighs.
Just look at their vibrant colourful plumage,
Look at them when through their feathers they rummage.
Parrots have made our world much brighter,
They’ve took our hearts from heavy to lighter.
When they sing and when they dance,
When they flutter, fly and prance.
Every parrot is quite unique,
Because when they mimic, thats when they speak.
