On the occasion of his 153rd death anniversary, Conrad Sangma, the chief minister of Meghalaya, declared that Pa Sangma’s legacy would be showcased to the younger generation through dramas and plays in schools and colleges. Conrad Sangma believes this move will help youngsters learn about the contributions of their ancestors and their heritage. Pa Sangma was known for his leadership, courage, resilience and dedication to his community and incorporating his stories in school and college events will help youngsters learn from his qualities.
