The fifth edition of the RobinAge Bright Sparks Awards received an amazing response, with a record 5,000 entries pouring in from over 400 schools from 150 cities. Our art and story-writing judges had a tough time picking winners, because a lot of the work was exceptional. However, we also received many amazing stories that had overshot the word count.
The RobinAge Bright Sparks Awards programme is all about enhancing your skills and cultivating them further. We don’t give you specific topics to enable you to express your thoughts on any subject you feel drawn towards. We do, however, ask you to limit your word count, to teach you to express yourself in as few words as possible. Sadly, some of the best entries had to be disqualified as they didn’t match the rules for word count.
This year, we also received quite a few overseas entries. We’d especially like to thank Our Own English High School in Dubai and Sharjah and GEMS Our Own English High School, Dubai for participating. As we open up entries for RBSA 2019-20, we hope you will participate in the right spirit and help us mentor you to make the next generation principled, honest and bright.
Our judges this year were artist Arzan Khambatta, poet Santhini Govindhan and RobinAge editor Cherry Divecha-Shethia.
Like last year, this time too, we selected three best schools based on both the quality (original entries only) and quantity of entries that came in. We proudly present all the winners of the RobinAge Bright Sparks Awards 2018-19.
