The University of Mumbai and the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies have entered an agreement to offer a temple management course. The course will be centred on Hindu philosophy and its curriculum will be designed by Mumbai University’s Centre for Hindu Studies and Sanskrit Department in collaboration with the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies. The course aims to provide candidates with practical skills in the field of temple management including administration, finance and crowd management. The temple management course will be a certificate course initially and will be extended to a postgraduate course in the future based on its demand.
