Researchers have discovered that intense heat driven by climate change has impacted tropical bird species significantly, with approximately one-third of their population experiencing a decline since the year 1980. The study found that as compared to the situation four decades ago, the birds are experiencing more heat presently. These conditions have led to adaptation issues, dehydration and birds struggling to cope. Researchers are working towards supporting birds and helping them adapt to these stressful situations.
