Archaeologists have found a 450-million-year-old fossil of a trilobite—an extinct sea creature. They believe ancient Romans may have used it as an amulet to shield themselves from mysterious powers. The amulet was discovered at A Cibda de Armea, an archaeological site in Spain. According to archaeologists, the amulet was used by ancient Romans between the 1st and 3rd centuries CE.
