The main aim of International Day of Yoga is to create awareness worldwide about the benefits of yoga. Yoga is far from simply being physical exercises, rather it is an aid to establish a new way of life. The different practices of yoga helps to restore physical and mental health. Many asanas that can be introduced at an early age which benefits the individual in long run. It helps in focusing the mind and increase in concentration. Yoga also has emerged as an alternative therapy to cure many diseases. However, this way of life is an experience which cannot be understood intellectually and will only be understood through practice and experience.
