Swimming was a sport my parents introduced I decided to get myself excused I was scared of getting into the water I said I will join the class later I thought I will falter We found a master who was very kind He took the fear out of my mind He taught me slowly How to float correctly I took baby steps to float I felt I wont need a boat I felt like a fish Moving its tail with a swish I learnt different strokes Along with many other folks I learnt to swim along I knew it will help me become strong Now I am ready to face my friends In a swimming race
