Poems can be written in myriad ways, using various literary devices and rhyme schemes. Poetry is yet another way of examining and expressing feelings and emotions by reflecting on one’s own experiences. More importantly, reading and writing poems help with language development, creative thinking, writing skills, self-expression and proficiency in the use of natural rhythms in the real world.
