Universities such as Yale, Oxford and Stanford may soon be allowed to set up their campuses in India.
In a move to make foreign education more accessible to Indian students, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government along with the University Grants Commission (UGC) has taken a step forward to ease the process of allowing leading universities such as Yale, Oxford and Stanford to set up their campuses in India. This move will also help India, as students from in and around Asia may decide to study here.
